System Engineer I (m/f/d) 

Your Strenght

  • Degree in (Business) Computer Science or comparable vocational training (e.g., IT specialist in system integration)
  • At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure environments
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft desktop operating systems
  • Experience with storage systems (NetApp, Pure Storage) and physical servers (Fujitsu, Dell, HP)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint administration
  • Strong VMware skills
  • Familiarity with global backup and recovery solutions
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability remediation, patching, and antivirus management tools
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring systems
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell for automation and maintenance
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English

Your Contribution

  • Administer and maintain the global infrastructure, including Active Directory, virtual and hardware servers
  • Install and maintain hardware and software systems
  • Act as an escalation point for the Technical Support Teams
  • Monitor data protection systems and manage backups and restorations
  • Participate in hardware/software procurement and lifecycle management
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Support collaboration with external service providers
  • Manage security software and hardware components
  • Provide monitoring, capacity planning, and ongoing infrastructure support
  • Design and implement enhancements to optimize system performance
