We are hiring a

Senior Complaint Officer (m/f/d) – Hechingen, Germany

Your Strength

  • Degree or background in natural sciences, engineering, or medical technology
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in quality management (ISO 13485), ideally in medical device complaint handling
  • Solid knowledge of medical terminology and surgical protocols relevant to Artivion’s product portfolio
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and work autonomously
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with complaint tracking systems is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on product, material, and process understanding

Your Contribution

  • Coordinate and oversee the processing and investigation of product complaints
  • Review complaint reports, defect patterns, and manufacturing documentation
  • Conduct complaint-related data entry and create investigation reports
  • Collaborate with R&D on technical investigations and root cause analysis
  • Draft clear, comprehensive customer reports with findings and conclusions
  • Participate in complaint panel reviews and support escalation to CAPA when required
  • Evaluate CT data and surgical reports to assess potential product or procedural issues
  • Support PMS meetings and provide complaint-related trend data
  • Act as an internal expert on complaint handling procedures, supporting audits and trainings
  • Maintain the decontamination room and manage returned product logistics
